Hot Nude Yoga Guru Gets Off

File under: Queer Gurudom

We're not kidding when we say that the next great frontier in the evolution of religion is queer spirituality. As the culture of fear and shame promulgated by traditional views of sexual morality continues to slide toward oblivion, its replacement is a vibrant and vital new paradigm of love, understanding and acceptance of diversity in sexual orientation and spirituality.

Leading the way is Aaron Star, the founder of Hot Nude Yoga, which is exactly what it sounds like. While there is no actual sexual contact during a hot nude yoga session, it still gets pretty hot all the same. We imagine it can get even hotter after class.

While it may have the ancient Rishis and Acharyas spinning in their graves at 69,000 RPM, we see the significant yet still largely unexplored link between sexuality and spirituality getting a workout with Mr. Star's approach to yoga. Just because it doesn't fit into the more traditional ways in which yoga is practiced doesn't mean it can't carve out its own niche as an authentic avenue to psycho-spiritual well-being for those who enjoy it.

Besides, anything hot and nude always gets our seal of approval, as long as nobody is getting hurt and the intention is right. We see no reason why this approach won't engender the same results as any other, only with lots more hot, sweaty and nude boy body yoga action, and perhaps a lot more "practice" after class as well.

I see nothing guru-like, spiritual or yogic in your post "Hot Nude Yoga Guru Gets Off".

Furthermore, nude yoga was done to over-exposure in the 70's.

I can see how you consistently miss the point about authentic spirituality.

You would be more at home as James RANDI's lap-dog.

I wish you party poopers would leave the Victorian morality back in the Victorian age where it belongs.

Besides not being an arbiter of what is or isn't yogic and spiritual, you obviously don't a have clue as to the transformative power of sexualized spirituality, which is every bit as efficacious as the prim and proper nonsense most people get shoved down their throats.

Spirituality which results in radical transformation is authentic. The rote repetition of the words of Famous Dead Guys™ isn't. It's a brave new world in the Kali Yuga. Spirituality is entirely open to one's own interpretation. If you want to be a prude, that's fine. You have a lot of company there. But look around you. All those other prudes are so busy being prudish that they wouldn't know self realization if it walked up and stuck its finger in their nostril and led them around by the nose.

Sounds more like the Church of Bob you have going. Convenient but fanciful.

I wish you party poopers would leave the Victorian morality back in the Victorian age where it belongs.

That says more about you than the last poster's comments.

I would think that "authentic spirituality" is more concerned with how one approaches the divine individually, than how wrongly other people seem to be approaching it. If you're too busy scolding others for not doing things "correctly," then what are you going to do about yourself and your path?

It's a shame this has only been marketed towards gay men. Hot nude yoga for everyone!

"As many faiths, so many paths."

Each person is their own path. If you took six strict adherents to whatever faith you choose, you'd still have six entirely different followings of that faith.

Regarding prudishness in spirituality. It's the dying gasps of the blissfully challenged, to be replaced by the simple recognition of the fact that if it feels good, it is good, as long as nobody gets hurt by it.

prudishness?

i don't think anyone was being prudish.

Any disavowal of the link between sexuality and spirituality is prudish.

Sensationalizing spirituality is the same thing as commercializing sex. I cant imagine how you can intellectualize this anymore than intellectualizing stupidity.

There's a whole cadre of left-wing intellectuals who intellectualize the actions of the Bush administration.

No this is horrible he has clearly mentioned on the faqs of his site that only adonis can join his retreat or classes it is only for good looking gay men or other men who can join .
and he has no regrets about his discrimination .

he will go on and on with these classes of discrimination.

here this is not spirituality but discrimination and lust.

Disregard the above comment. I've been to classes and this is most def not the case. You'll find different body types in reasonable shape. The requirements posted on the website are probably intended to discourage those coming to get a peep show or those who aren't serious about practicing yoga.
